Northwood beautifully hand enamel-decorated jug circa 1920
Elegant tall (13 inch) clear glass jug with elaborate hand-enameled floral decoration and gold enamel trim. Northwood Glass Company of Wheeling, WV circa 1920. It is mold-blown with a rib optic on the base. The rim is trimmed with gold enamel to which there is little or no wear. The pitcher is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or scratches to handle or jug. The enamel decoration is also in excellent condition. Examples can be seen in the Oglebay Glass Museum in Wheeling, West Virginia.
