BAUDENKMAELER IN GROSSBRITANNIEN. (Museum of Buildings in Great Britain) Berlin: Ernst Wasmuth, 1894. Folio. First edition. By Constantin Uhde. Thirty-one unbound plates (those in the table of contents plus six others) from a comprehensive photographic survey of British architecture, showing the work Sir Christopher Wren, Inigo Jones, and others. It features Chester Cathedral, York Cathedral, Windsor Castle, and a photograph of Stonehenge. This folio was owned by Truman C. Buss, (hand signed by him in 1926) author of the 1951 definitive textbook "Simplified Architectural Drawing". Dimensions of plates are 19" high by 12.5 inches wide. In good condition with some darkening around edges of plates and cone edges and corners very slightly rough.
