Perfume Atomizer Signed Mignon - Late 1920s
Beautiful Mignon perfume atomizer from the 1920s. Mignon was a premiere manufacturer of perfume atomizers from that period that purchased glass bottles from the finest glass houses of the period including Steuben and Baccarat and fitted them with fine French atomizer hardware. We cannot identify the maker of this bottle. The metal spray fittings are marked "Made in France" and are bright gold plated and show little wear, pitting or scratching. The ball and cord are new. The bottle is satin-finished on the exterior and is interior-enameled in a bright red-orange and decorated with a dancing nymph in fired-on black enamel. It is signed on the bottom "MIGNON" in acid. The bottle is in top condition, with no chips, cracks or scratches in the glass. It is 7 1/2 inches tall to top of atomizer head.
